I really wasn't expecting to follow yesterday's epic session, especially as I was on my own. I'd hardly slept (as I was still buzzing at bedtime) so was tired and ached. And the day didn't get off to a great start at the dentist where I'd had a tooth extracted.

AND it was dead onshore at Camber. And I was still a bit wobbly with all the anaesthetic injections.

Pumped up the 8 then thought maybe I should go for the 11 as it wasn't as windy as yesterday, but everyone told me to stay with the 8 at my level.

It was really busy (about 20 out) especially around one area as there was a couple of photgraphers about.

Being so onshore I really didn't think I'd get up, and after a couple of false starts ended up hooning down the beach for a few hundred metres! WOO-HOO! It was something I could repeat back on port tack, too. So I spent the afternoon just wizzing up and down until I fell off or, as was normally the case, was knocked over by a wave. The only walking upwind I did all day was just a few steps out into the sea at the end of every other reach. It was absolutely incredible, it has REALLY come together. I am so pleased!

And who'd have thought we'd get such perfect conditions in the middle of November?
